problem was I was installing on a linux server and testing againts this
server from my windows client. I I use the Netscape onI just changed the server certificate on a Tomcat 4.04 standalone server
and now get "Secure connection fatal error (40) from server. Failed to
connect to server. " errors.

Yesterday I installed the mod_jk module into apache and managed to get
it configued and doing what I want it to do. The only problem I now have
is that whenever I start apache from the command I would like to use the webdav servlet in the context of another web
application. In particular WebDAV only should make files beneath a
certain subdirectory say "docs/usr " available.

'make ' after you did the configure. configure should have produced

To make changes to tomcat under jboss you must edit tomcat41-service.xml not server.xml changes made toAttempt to integrate Tomcat- Apache with jk2 on WinNT 4.0.
