I 'm very new to Tomcat and JSP. Can anybody tell me how I can initialize
some application variables from a file so that they are available to all
of the asp pages in my application as soon Is there documentation on using the DeltaManager for clustering?

I am facing problems running Tomcat on the Russian version of MS
Windows. There are a few questions which i hope helpful users here can
answer.
1) Why doesn 't Tomcat work on Russian MSI created a system environment variable called $CATALINA_HOME on XP.
I have it set to D \MyProjects\java\Eclipse.
If I do a CD %$CATALINA_HOME% at the DOS prompt the directory changes
correctly.Can anybody recommend anything like mod_rewrite for Tomcat 5.5? I know
the FAQ says something about "why reinvent the wheel " but in this case
