Right now i 'm developing Digital Signature project based on itext signature. When I get the signature name from signature field the field name is always "Signature# " form (# is a integeNot all signatures are born equal. SELF_SIGNED generates a PKCS#1 signature
and WINCER_SIG generates PKCS#7 signature. If you are generating externally
the signatures you must be aware of it.

I am using directly an PDFGraphics2D object to "draw " text and images
directly in a PDF file.
I searched previous posts in this newsgroup and found a couple
concerning font-embedding. However I see lots of great examples of how to create a new PushButton field and
assign an image to it. I am stuck trying to figure out how to read a PDF
that has a field already in it and assign a "logo " tWhen I run the code below I get an IOException - Header signature not found.
The reason I 'm using that seperate thread is because I 'm not using the
FileOutputStream in my actual app. I 'm using the PI have indeed succeed creating signatures that validate in Adobe SW.
The problem is that I don 't understand why they validate because it seems
that they do not follow PKCS #7.
