Specific Table selection and handling is only available in Acrobat
Standard & Professional - not Reader.
However if you wish to simply do rectangular selection that works
fine in Reader 8.

I 've successfully made tables with iText but noticed that I can 't
select them as such in Acrobat Reader 8. Acrobat used to have a
"select table " option but read that it has been replaced in latThe problem is certainly not with iText. If your VM has problems with
memory mapped files you can use

We are using itext in a web application and the pdf shows up alright for a while could be for appx. 50 requests but suddenly when a user gets his pdf almost all formatting from tables are gone.Humm ... I added a call to DefaultFontMapper.insertNames(...) and now
it works ... I thoued the pdftoAwt() call did the registering. I also
looked for just such a method but never thought that addNameDid you register the fonts in mFontMapper? That 's explained in page 362 of
the book.

You 'll see that the functioiText doesn 't process the images. If you use JAI to downsample the

We want to create a pdf using 8 images. But when creating a pdf using itext
we get a filesize of about 25 MB for one pdf. This is not so supprising if
you take in consideration that we have abouI solved the problem with high quality printing.
Really it is an independent process.
My page size was less than full image draw in graphics object and then a scaling process was happening.

I have a PDF with two submit buttons with the same field name. I am using
AcroField replacePushButtonField() to set the submit URL at run time. But
