  | | | URGENT! regarding Stateful Session bean in multi server enviornment | URGENT! regarding Stateful Session bean in multi server enviornment 2004-08-20 - By Manish Malhotra
Back Hi, Im using a stateful session bean to implement the ValueListPattern for one of my search screen.
Now my quesion is if this appli. is running on clustered envi. Then does it make any difference regarding the consistency of the Stateful Session Bean data. And if yes then is there any configuration, so that every contanier would have the same state of this bean.
One more related issue is.... Is JMS could be used to update a cache data in the clustered environment? Means say on 1st server--> cache = x data 2nd server--> cache = x data
Then something chage from the admin module (web) which affects this cache... At this point Im publishing a message and the MDB (listener) for this topic will update the cache with the latest data from the database. And let the latest data = Y
So, after this event now scenaria will be like this
1st server--> cache = Y data 2nd server--> cache = Y data
or not ?
Plz give ur feedback asap!
Many Thanks.
regards Manish
