Check your class path. If any of the Java API methods are not available means, its an error that the Java Jar Files are somehow missing in the class path. Check your Tomcat classpath too. If you have installed tomcat with earlier versions of java, probably you need to update it with the new java version in your classpath and your java environment variable on windows machine
