As far as I am aware, there is no built-in tool in Tomcat to do this.
You can either run it as a service, or run it in a Command Prompt.
However, there are many versions of Tail available for Win2k on the net,
so that you can "tail" the output as I described earlier. We use this same
method ourselves to view consoles of running VM's.
Just search for "tail windows 2000" in google.
