Back ServletContext will be only one for each application, This will be available for both the servlet's. I don't think you need to declare two servletcontexts. Regards Suresh G -- --Original Message-- -- From: A mailing list for Java(tm) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition [mailto:J2EE-INTEREST@(protected)] On Behalf Of KR Kumar Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 1:06 PM To: J2EE-INTEREST@(protected) Subject: ServletContextListener Hi guys, I have a simple question. Let's say I have two servlets in my application which I have declared in my web.xml. Now I have two servletcontext listeners declared in my web.xml. But nowhere have we mapped a particular listner to a particular servlet. Does that mean for both the servlets these listeners will be invoked?
