Actually a very good question

Will become important when you introduce the concept of virtual hosts and
the assumption 1 virtual host/ServletContext
whereas logging, obtaining Resources and obtaining RequestDispatcher are
accessible via ServletContext..as well as mapping unique path for later
reference by getContext

ServletContext will be only one for each application, This will be
available for both the servlet's. I don't think you need to declare two
servletcontexts.

Subject: ServletContextListener

Hi guys,

I have a simple question. Let's say I have two servlets in my
application which I have declared in my web.xml. Now I have two
servletcontext listeners declared in my web.xml. But nowhere have we
mapped a particular listner to a particular servlet. Does that mean for
both the servlets these listeners will be invoked?

Thanx & Regards
KR Kumar
