Yes i understand. Actually i'm not quite new to java server programming. Only that i'm not in touch for the last one year. I'm taking it only step by step... module by module .. Not the whole app in a single step. Also by email i meant only internal messaging.
> Struts is generally used to build applications, whereas java serverfaces > (jsf) is generally used to build UIs. Thanks a lot for the remark. Actually i' don't know anything about jsf thought i know a bit of struts. I thought JSF was a framework similar to Struts. Quoting myfaces.org -- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----- "JavaServer(tm) Faces is a new and upcoming web application framework that accomplishes the MVC paradigm. It is comparable to the well-known Struts Framework but has features and concepts that are beyond those of Struts. "
That is why i had a confusion. Could you please tell what you mean by UI.. swing applications or about the web-tier..?
Thanks a lot for your time and consideration sajith http://apilgrim.info sajith.ml[at]gmail.com
