I write to you because y solved the problem and wanted to share the solution
with all of you.
There were 2 problems here.
One of them is when you try to work with big files, you have to manage your
resources very carefully, to prevent memory leaks.
The other point is that you can´t buffer the document in memory while you
wait to finish it, so i choosed the non-threaded version of itext pdf
generation servlet!!!
I hope this will help anyone in the future.
I think that you could buffer the pdf in your filesystem, but you should
build some mechanism to erase those files, or you would be running out of
hard disk quite quickly.
