I used to add gif-pictures to my pdf document with PdfContentByte.addImage(...)
in version 1.0.2b and its transparent areas appeared white, like new snow.

When I now run the same code with version 1.3, the same areas appear black,
like pitch.

I prefer snow; what can, or must, I do?
