Hi Paolo,
I appreciate you "down-to-the-point-to-be-made" style of replies ... :-)
Well, the original idea was to generate a report using
1) a few existing PDF forms as templates
2) fill in the data
3) concat them
4) add the attachments
Everything works apart from 4) ... so the question remains how to
attach something to an existing PDF. Is this generally impossible to do
with iText? Or am I just on the wrong track? The original idea was to
use FOP but I will run into problems attaching the files. And using the
iText API to create the PDF including the attachments is not such good
idea since I would hardcode the layouting.
Thanks in advance,

Subject: [iText-questions] How to add file attachments to an existing PDF?
Hi folks,
for modelling a workflow I need to attach files to an existing PDF
document. I went through the samples and wrote a testcase based on the
sample of concatening PDFs (to get a PdfWriter) and using PDFAnnotation.
The copying works but the file attachments are not visible. The file
attachment seems to be there but not visible when viewing the document
with Acrobat Reader.
Any ideas?!
Cheers,
Siegfried Goeschl
