sockets Vs RMI 2005-06-24 - By Kamal Kishore
Back We are developing a stock exchange application with thick swing client - server architecture.
we need to finalize the protocol between client and server (Sockets or RMI).
Actually some of the classes have already been developed using Sockets, but now we are afraid of the growing complexity and issue of maintainability.
What will be the impact on performance if we go for RMI.
Is there any other approach possible.
thanks in advance for your kind response
cheers, kamal
