Hello question about Itextsharp

Sorry i know this is supposed to be directed to the Itextsharp guys
but i couldn't find a contact. I was wondering why The #ziplib
library. was required (like what is it's purpose?), or if it's even a
standard requirement?.. and is the licensing for the ITExtsharp the
same as for the itext? (it probably is but i just want some
verification) thanks
