Can someone tell me if this is possible with iText?
It works in big faceless. I have a PDF template.
On-the-fly, I want to populate the template text
fields with data - and I also want to stick an image
in the PDF (in an absolute position) - on-the-fly.
I have tried to proto-type this. I can fill out a
form as one example, and I can put an image in a PDF
as another example - but I cannot do them both at the
same time, as the examples I've seen for inserting
text in a template on-the-fly, and inserting an Image
in a PDF on-the-fly are completely different syntax
that don't seem to go together. When I try and meld
these operations - the result is either a PDF with the
proper text - but missing the dynamic image - or just
a white page, and no specific error message.
Has anyone needed to or wanted to do this? Does
anyone know if iText permits it?
Thanks, Ceily
