Connection on hibernate

Hi all,
I don't know if I can ask this kind of question here.

I have a doubt about hibernate.

I am working in a project where we use a pool of connections (c3p0) with
hibernate. Then  everytime that someone connect to the database, this
connection is established with the superuser. Because of this, I have to
do the access control mannually, to controll who have the access, or
not, to some parts of the system.
Now I am concerned that, if someone take my hibernate config file, he
will be able do acess all of the data containned in the system.
How do I have to work with this?

Thanks
Dirceu
