Getting XML-version / Encoding

Getting XML-version / Encoding

Dear group,

I'd like to know, how to get the "entry" XML-Version / Encoding (e.g.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859 (See http://ISO-8859.ora-code.com)-1"?> from the Document. I have to
split out an XML Document in several smaller portions and of course copy
the "first line" in all portions.

Thanks in advance
