BarcodePDF417 doesn't escape any character. Either you are providing one backslash too many or the scanner is adding the backslash.

Hello,

I'm creating PDF417 barcodes that contain strings like:

1064VDA4939P\TM\VDA4913\K\VWAG01

The problem now is that my customer tells me that after scanning the code, the
slashes
are doubled like that:

1064VDA4939P\\TM\\VDA4913\\K\\VWAG01

It looks to me that either BarcodePDF417 or the scanner software escapes the
backslash
character. My customer insists that the error is in the bar code. Is this a known
problem? Is there any workaround?

It happens no matter whether I use byte or text compaction.
