Sorry, now that I read your question a second time,
I see that I misinterpreted it.
I thought you were talking about caching the data entered in form fields.

The correct answer, is that PDF files are ALWAYS cached.
Adobe Reader is not able to read a PDF file from a byte stream.
This is not IE related, but Adobe Reader related.
The same goes for every other browser.
