Running Apache (HELP!) 2004-05-15 - By insane103@(protected)
I am not sure what my ISP blocks, or what protocol it uses. I had to send them a message and now it'll take a few days for them to reply.
I am not using a router, this computer is connected right to the modem.
And yes, this is my first attempt at a server of any kind.

Just a shot in the dark but does your ISP use NAT or block ports of any sort? That'd be the first place I'd look at if this is the first time for you to be running a server on your home (assumption, correct me if I'm wrong) connection.
Also, are you behind a router at home? If so have you told it to forward port 80 connections to your computer?
