Which version of Tomcat Native library to use? 2006-11-13 - By Matthias Krebs

Hello,
I installed Tomcat 5.5.20 and compiled the included (1.1.13) Tomcat
Native Library from bin/tomcat-native.tar.gz. This works, but in the
log i get this message:
"FEIN: An older version 1.1.3 of the Apache Tomcat Native library is
installed, while Tomcat recommends version greater than 1.1.4"
So does anybody know
a) why version 1.1.13 and not 1.1.14 is included in the tomcat bundle
b) if there is any benefit from using 1.1.14
c) where to get it
