You may also want to look at the "Click" framework. It's an event based
framework very similar to ASP.NETs model.

JavaServer Faces is basically the Java equivalent of ASP.NET. JSF lags
sufficiently behind ASP.NET IMHO though. I noticed that NetBeans has a

add on called Visual Web Pack that might be worth checking out. It's
