You've obviously never done this, or bothered to read the doc. Here's
the one for Solaris:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/runtime_solaris.html

Note that the placement and location specification of native libraries
is platform- and JVM-specific, but most use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
environment variable these days.
