You have to modify the plugin configuration, in struts-config.xml.

<plug-in className="org.apache.struts.tiles.TilesPlugin">
  <set-property
    property="definitions-config"
      value="/WEB-INF/tiles-defs.xml"/>

      value="name.of.YourClass"/>
</plug-in>
