Re: International Standards in J2EE

Points of functionality (and time to implement) is a common matrix.

You an go back to your use cases/specs to count the number of points in functionality.

With a good OO system, as the system grows you should be able to add functionality faster.
(Case studies exist that illustrate this).

I explicitly remember on from the mid 90's where the Bank of Nova Scotia implemented a Smalltalk project in two phases, with the amount of functionality included in each phase was similar. The 2nd phase was implemented in less then 1/2 the time and with a 10 to 20% increase in the code base.

Subject: International Standards in J2EE

Hi,
Is anyone of you aware of the International Standards for J2EE
projects. I mean, what is the

1. International norm for LOC. How many LOC per day per person.
2. Delivered defect density...
    any other measurements available.

Any info/site address will be helpful.

Regards
Ritesh
