hello,
i am a student of engineering in information technology.
i was making a online leave management system in jsp.
i just want to know that what can i do to provide security to my first page i.e
. login and password page. as these things will be trasnsfered through the
internet to the webserver.
the user will type in his login and password in the form and press the submit
button. i am using the POST method to submit the form.
this password in the server gets checked against the login which information is
stored in a ms sql database.
please suggest me what security measures should i take and where can i find
them?
