Ohhh (wiping sweat of my brows) ... now I get it.
systemId is synonymous to File URI.

Don't you agree that such definition like systemId should be included in
jdom javadoc and links to it from any api doc that refers to systemId?

e.g. jdk javadoc on String and regexp have links to what a "pattern" is.

is a pretty reliable recipe.
