Hello,

I ve downloaded two Windows versions of Tomcat. First the Serviceinstaller,
second the 'normal' zip archive.
Than I installed the Java JRE (!) on my system.

When starting the service installation of Tomcat the programm runs fine.
When starting Tomcat by hand using 'bin/startup run' I get the message:
JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE

Why is it that I can start Tomcat as a service using the JRE only, but fail
when using the 'normal' Tomcat App?
