I have an image (size 202 KB) which I would like to load!

File file = new File("logo.jpg");
FileInputStream is = new FileInputStream(file);
BufferedImage bi = ImageIO.read(is);
com.lowagie.text.Image img = com.lowagie.text.Image.getInstance(bi, null);

load time: more than 1.5 sec.

Why does that take so long? How can I reduce this?
