Java generics in iText how and when?

Hello,

I’m sorry if this is the millionth time the question is asked. Is there any version of the iText which uses java generics in all relevant API points, like the SimpleBookmark.getBookmark() which returns a list of what? List<Map<String, String>> perhaps?
