Open given PDF document
Read page by page
If the page contain a link to external document, get relative path stored in document, open this document and here create new bookmark. This bookmark has return location back to starting document and to appropriate page.

I thought that what I'm doing is correct, so no misterious error just miss understanding of API. Hmmmm...
Can I please get some hints ?

Peter
