Hi to everyone.

I need to populate a dropdown list in a Jsp page taking the data from a MySQL database.
Is there any other way (more elegant) to do this than writing a bean that stores information and then use it from the JSP page? using struts tags or something like this?
I have red that is a better way using custom tags than use JavaBeans within a JSP.
