compiling tomcat-5.0.16 from source 2003-12-04 - By James Black

Hello,
I am curious how I compile all the components of tomcat from source
code. I am having various problems, the only one that made sense was
that I had to upgrade mail.jar.
From the $HOME_DIR/jakarta-tomcat-5 (See http://cat-5.ora-code.com).0.16/src I should just be able to
type
'ant'
and have it compile, but it appears that the connector section isn't
compiled and catalina isn't compiled.
