Just one more question. Will the external file content will come as the
part of the PDF document or it will come as one ICON on PDF and user has
to click on that to get the contents.

Hmm, haven't I just answered that question???
You'll have to specify what you want.
Do you want to CONVERT Word or XLS docs to PDF?
That's not what you asked; moreover it's not possible with iText.
Do you want to CONVERT TXT, images, ... to PDF?
That's possible with iText, but it's not what you asked.
Do you want to EMBED all those files into a PDF?
That's what you asked and that's what's explained on the pages I
mentioned.
