There are many different ways to do this, so it surprises me that you are doing an iText project but haven't stumbled upon the Anchor class, the Chunk.setAnchor method or annotations that provide an external or internal link.
The first place to look is of course the tutorial that is well hidden on URLs that start with itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial e.g: http://itextdocs.lowagie.com/tutorial/objects/anchors/#remotegoto and of course the book "iText in Action" for those who use iText extensively: http://itext.ugent.be/itext-in-action/
