Hi All,

While downloading/viewing a file from a jsp page, there are no problems
encountered by IE. But, when the same is opened on Netscape 7.0 (and up), the
file is opened up in the same window and all the data is improperly rendered
because NS cannot interpret the file properly.

I wish to know if there are any work-arounds when you want to redirect these
documents to opened by the respective applications and not NS from a Jsp page??
?

However, when the links containing these documents are placed in a simple HTML
file, even NS identifies the file properly and directs it to the respective
application. But, I dont seem to understand why it cant for the Jsp file???

Do I have to change/add some setting in the conf files???
