I like the framework.
The only issue I've ever had with the framework/group was a discussion over creating a C# version (for portability reasons (like the Rainbow C# portal); support for open language standards like C# (to be competitive with Java); and to be more agressively competing with the open source portal Apache JetSpeed (Java)).
