tomcat4 and apache2 integration 2003-12-30 - By Enils Bashi

Hi List,
I am trying to build tomcat-apache connectors and it is not working. I have
tried some of the tomcat-apache how-to's but no success. Can't create
mod_jk2.so. I got the latest tgz from jakarta.apache.org and I run the
following commands under native2 directory:
sh buildconf.sh
./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
make
libtool --finish /usr/local/apache2/modules
but the mod_jk2.so does not get created.
I did a find / -name "mod_jk2.so" -print, but mod_jk2.so is nowhere to be
found.
I am running apache-2 (See http://che-2.ora-code.com).0.44 and tomcat-4 (See http://cat-4.ora-code.com).1.27 and latest jsdk on a Redhat 9
machine
