Should be the same for XP pro
Right click on my computer.. select properties.. select advanced tad.
Click on the environment var button.
You should now be in the Environment Variables Window.
2 sections..
ser Variables for <user name> and System Variables
Click the NEW BUTTON under the System Variables
When prompted type in JAVA_HOME then the path to java _home
