You either have to download the binary version of tomcat
from http://jakarta.apache.org/site/binindex.cgi
or to create a binary from the sources:
http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-5 (See http://cat-5.ora-code.com).0-doc/building.html

More details installing the binary download can be found in
