Back Hello,
My name is Bryan Basham. I work for Sun Microsystems in the Education Services division. I am also the creator/maintainer of the SCWCD exam objectives.
Over the next few months Sun is updating the SCWCD exam to match the new servlet/JSP specs (v2.4 and v2.0 respectively). I am currently in the process of evaluating the current exam objectives and the new features of servlet/JSP components. I would like to hear from those of you have have passed the current exam. I would like to hear your opinions about:
* Which sections (or individual objectives) do you feel are relatively unimportant and should be removed from the exam?
* Which new techologies do you feel will be relatively more important and should be added to the new exam?
You can find the current objectives at: http://training.sun.com/US/catalog/courses/CX-310-080.html
Remember that this exam is about fundamental Web tier technologies and is not about advanced features or frameworks, such as Struts.
Please email me directly at bryan.basham@(protected) as I am not active on either of these aliases. Finally, please send your feedback within one week (COB Friday July 18th).
Regards, Bryan
