Does request.getHeader(host or referrer..) statement in a JSP page causes significant performance problem? Some portion of my application is experiencing a significant performance delay and although I am not sure, but it seems its caused by request.getHeader statements in one of the JSP pages... was wondering if anyone has any input on this?

Thanks,
