Question-Caching

Dear Servlet Interest Users,

I have an application where the user passes through a series of web pages
before finally previewing what he/she entered on the form.

If the user does not like what they entered on the form, they can go back and
make changes and preview again before submitting the final information. They
use the "Back" button on the browser to go back and change the information.

After changing the data on the pages, the problem is that the page refreshes
and the data that they entered previously does not remain on the page and it
gets refreshed if they use the button on the application to go forward, rather
than using the "Forward" button. If they use the "Forward button, the page does
not get refreshed and the data remains intact, but the change is not reflected
on the preview page.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Sincerely,

--Aasim.
