try the FileUpload package from http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/. I
believe it's the successor of the Oreilly Package and it works without
problems for me.

Congratulations for getting so far. :-)
If you do not know the Jakarta project you should really have a close look
on the website as they host lots of the de-facto standard APIs for Java.
