Asking list questions - apologies to those offended

Although I still believe that badly formulated posts does not belong in a
mailing list, I also find in retrospective that my response was a bit harsh.

Unfortunately everything that's written has a tendency to affect people ten
times as much as the same comment uttered in real life. So therefore, although
one may eventually get a bit tired of all the "plz", "u", "i MUST have/build
this" (there are very few musts), there's always the risk of alienating
friendly people who do not like your tone when you eventually bite back. And
that can break done a list at a VERY fast pace. In the worst case, that would
be within hours.

So to those that where offended by must post, I humbly apologize.

And to the original poster; I guess I had a bad day at the code factory etc.
etc. Try this:
http://kr.fujitsu.com/products/software/Interstage/technical/tutorial/resource
/appsample/adsSample/adsApplet2.html

You can also keep on searching from Google with the phrase "applet servlet
connecting" (without the quotes). That's how I found the piece above, and no,
this last sentence is not meant as some pointer to Google to ridicule somebody.
I did search Google to find the sample above  and I flipped through three or
four pages after that. There just seemed to be some more meaty information on
the subject there, that's all.

Regards Erik Beijnoff
