Back Hi, Thanks a lot again. I just checked the release notes of java 1.4.2. The memory leak problem is fixed in 1.4.2. We will upgrade our VM. And I guess this is the problem coz I am using StringBuffer extensively. Will also run the profiler to check for any other memory leaks.

I am not sure, maybe someone else can jump in, but I think, this was one the those VM releases I mentioned here:
