Hello,

I need to now, how to configure the log4j from
Tomcat in Windows 2000.

What is log4j?

I am new with Tomcat.

I have installed "jakarta-slide-2.0-tomcat-4.1.30" with "Axis1_1" under
the operating system
Windows 2000 and it runs.
But I get a WARNING if I start and stop the Tomcat.

The WARNING is:

LOG4j:No appender could be found for logger
org.apache.common.digester.Digester.sax.
Please initialize the log4j system properly.

What should I do that this WARNING never appears and HOW to do this
action.
