Really? You do:
- Apache to Tomcat forwarding via mod_jk
- Tomcat WelcomeServlet mapping to real servlet class
- Real servlet class 200 DB queries (!) and output writing
in under 2 seconds?

Cool. What hardware and JVM are you using, out of curiosity?
