Subject: Re: new to java...
Bruce,
This is not a technology that Sun likes to promote however.

hi..
i'm
new to java... and am trying to determine if there is a java mailing
list
for developers who are new to java and are interested in doing
some
experimentation.
basically, i have an app that's written in
java, and i'd like to test/play
around with it a bit to get a feel as to
how it works. so i'd like to be
able to set it up, run it, as well as be
able to make small
edits/compilation changes, etc...
this would be
under the linux OS.
if i could find a group for new developers (with
some reasonable traffic of
members) then i could get have a place to turn
to if i have issues/problems
setting things up.
thanks for any
time/help/assistance with this
issue...
regards
bruce
